Grow a Garden Pet Values —
GAG Tier List & Sheckle Guide

Grow a Garden pet values are determined by two factors: tier rank and hatch weight. S-Tier pets like Jandel, Raiju, and Kitsune command the highest Sheckle values. Super Giant weight — above nine kilograms — adds 300 to 500 percent to any pet's baseline trade value regardless of tier.
Before any pet trade in GAG — two questions matter: what tier is this pet, and what weight did it hatch at? The tier tells you the baseline. The weight tells you the actual number.

Grow a Garden Pet Tier List

The Grow a Garden pet tier list ranks all GAG pets from S-Tier (highest trade value) to D-Tier (lowest). Tier rank reflects a pet's baseline Sheckle value, rarity, and community trading demand. S-Tier pets — Jandel, Raiju, and Kitsune — consistently command the highest prices at equivalent weight tiers.

The tier list is the starting point for pet valuation — not the ending point. Two S-Tier pets at different weight tiers are not worth the same amount. A Super Giant Raiju and an Average Raiju are both S-Tier by ranking but differ in trade value by 300 to 500 percent. The tier gives you the category. The weight gives you the price.

One thing the GAG tier list does not show — and no competitor's list explains — is the weight override effect. When weight disparity between two pets is large enough, tier rank becomes irrelevant. A B-Tier pet at Super Giant weight can outvalue an S-Tier pet at Tiny weight. Use the trade calculator to handle these scenarios accurately.

S-Tier Pets — Jandel, Raiju, Kitsune

The three S-Tier GAG pets share the same Super Giant threshold (9 kg) and achieve the highest Sheckle values at equivalent weights. Jandel leads by trading volume at 19,000 monthly searches. Jandel guide → Kitsune carries a unique ceiling via the Harmonized Foxfire Chakra mutation (190×) — exclusive to Kitsune, it represents the absolute Sheckle ceiling across all GAG pets. A-Tier Pets — Albino Tarantula, Firefly Axolotl

A-Tier pets command high Sheckle values driven by hatch weight and visual rarity. At Super Giant weight, both reach values that overlap with lower S-Tier configurations. The visual rarity factor creates demand floors that prevent A-Tier values from collapsing to C-Tier levels even at lower weights.

B-Tier and Below — Event Pets & Common Breeds

B-Tier event pets like Headless Horseman carry scarcity value on top of weight-based value — seasonal exclusivity permanently caps supply. C and D-Tier pets have meaningful value primarily at Super Giant weight, where the weight premium can temporarily elevate trade worth above their tier baseline.

How GAG Pet Values Are Calculated

Grow a Garden pet value is calculated using The GAG Pet Value Framework: Trade Value = Tier Baseline × Weight Tier Multiplier × Mutation Multiplier. Tier sets the Sheckle floor. Weight tier multiplies it by up to 5× at Super Giant. Mutations multiply the result further — all three factors are multiplicative, not additive.

Why Weight Beats Tier in High-Value Trades

At large enough weight disparities, pet weight tier overrides breed tier in determining trade value. A D-Tier pet at Super Giant weight (3–5× baseline) outvalues an S-Tier pet at Tiny weight (below 1× baseline) in direct Sheckle comparison. This weight override effect is the most important nuance in GAG pet valuation.

Weight override example:
S-Tier Jandel at Tiny (0.5 kg) → ~50% of S-Tier average baseline
C-Tier Cat at Super Giant (10 kg) → ~400% of C-Tier average baseline
Result: C-Tier Super Giant may exceed Tiny S-Tier in Sheckle value

This is why experienced GAG traders always lead with weight confirmation — not breed name — in any pet trade. Use the pet calculator to get the exact hatch weight and size tier before accepting any offer.

Tier sets the category. Weight sets the price.

Confirm hatch weight in the pet calculator. Cross-reference tier and weight in this guide. Run both sides through the trade calculator before agreeing.
