How to Use the Crop Value Calculator

  1. Select your crop — type any crop name in the search box to filter instantly. The base Sheckle price is shown once selected.
  2. Stack mutations — on desktop, click chips from the grid. On mobile, type to search. Each selected mutation is added to the stack. You can select as many as the crop carries.
  3. Enter weight — the crop weight in kilograms from your inventory. Weight scales the result linearly.
  4. Set quantity (optional) — if calculating multiple crops of the same type at once, set the count here.
  5. Toggle Friend Boost — enable if a friend was present in your garden during harvest. Adds +50%.
  6. Click Calculate — the exact Sheckle value appears with the full formula breakdown so you can verify every step.

GAG Crop Value Formula

Final Value = Base Price × M1 × M2 × Mn × Weight × Qty × Boost

Mutations multiply sequentially — each one multiplies the running total, not the base. Stacking Rainbow (50×) and Shocked (100×) gives a combined 5,000× multiplier, not 150×.

Worked Examples

Dawnbound Glacial Pepper

Glacial Pepper at 1 kg with Dawnbound applied

2,500 × 150 = 375,000 Sheckles

Single Mythic mutation, no weight bonus

Rainbow + Shocked Moonmelon

Moonmelon at 1 kg with Rainbow and Shocked stacked

800 × 50 × 100 = 4,000,000 Sheckles

Two mutations multiply sequentially — not 800 × 150

Verdant Strawberry at 20 kg

Strawberry with Verdant mutation at 20 kg weight

50 × 2 × 20 = 2,000 Sheckles

Weight scales the result linearly

Friend Boost on Beanstalk

Beanstalk at 5 kg, no mutations, friend in garden

2,200 × 5 × 1.5 = 16,500 Sheckles

Friend Boost adds 50% on top of all other multipliers

Frequently Asked Questions

How do mutations stack in Grow a Garden?

Mutations stack multiplicatively — not additively. Each mutation multiplies the running total from all previous mutations. Rainbow (50×) plus Shocked (100×) equals 5,000× total — not 150×. The formula is: Final Value = Base Price × M1 × M2 × Mn.

What is the highest crop mutation multiplier?

Dawnbound at 150× is the highest available for standard crops. Harmonized Foxfire Chakra (190×) is higher but exclusive to the Kitsune pet only. Both are Mythic rarity.

Does crop weight affect Sheckle value?

Yes — weight is a direct multiplier in the crop value formula. A 10 kg Moonmelon is exactly 10× more valuable than a 1 kg Moonmelon with the same mutations applied.

What is Friend Boost and when should I use it?

Friend Boost is a +50% bonus applied when a friend is present in your garden during harvest. Toggle it on in the calculator if a friend was in your garden when the crop was harvested.

How accurate are the base crop prices?

All base prices and mutation multipliers are verified against in-game observations and updated within 24 hours of every confirmed GAG patch. Multipliers are cross-checked against a minimum of 5 independent observations before being listed.

Can I stack more than two mutations?

Yes — you can stack as many mutations as are present on a single crop. Each additional mutation multiplies the running total. Use the chip grid on desktop (or search on mobile) to select as many mutations as needed.
